On which graphical framework is the WinCC OA UI based?

WinCC OA is based on the Qt ( pronounce as 'cute' ) toolkit. Qt is a very powerful, multi platform, graphical framework.
Qt is used by many popular software packages like Google Earth, Skype, the Linux KDE desktop, Adobe Photoshop.
Qt is used by ETM because it enables us to focus on one development environment. It ensures that WinCC OA looks the same at all platforms ( Linux, Windows).
