Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during startup and runtime. The log-messages are written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

These log-message describe that the directories save and alsave are missing at the database of the WinCC OA-project.
Normally the directoires are created automatically when the project is started.
To get rid of this error please create the following directories on your own with write permission for the operating system user which is starting WinCC OA.
<project-path>/db/wincc_oa/save
<project-path>/db/wincc_oa/alsave

When using 3.10 or an older version the following directories have to be created
<project-path>/db/pvss/save
<project-path>/db/pvss/alsave
