PVSS00event - PARAM/WARNING - EvManager, processFwdDps, missing element name

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during startup of the event-manager. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

Log-message with symbolic names:

PVSS00event (0), <TIMESTAMP>, PARAM,WARNING, 54, Unexpected state, EvManager, processFwdDps, <DP-type>: missing element name


This log-message occurs when the dp-element is not specified at a fwdDpType entry.
The entry is made in the config, config.level or config.redu-file in your project or any of the sub-projects including the config.level and config.redu file for the installed version.
If you want to forward all elements for a dp-type you have to define the datapoint-type with an “.” at the end.

Please check the settings for your project and remove the entry if it is not needed.
