PVSS00event - PARAM/WARNING - Source time outside valid limits (resource: validTimeDiff)
Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during runtime. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.
PVSS00event (0), 2012.04.05 20:48:30.299, PARAM,WARNING, 20, Source time outside valid limits (resource: validTimeDiff), DP: System1:Plant1.signal.in:_original.._value, MAN: (SYS: 1 Driver -num 1 CONN: 1)
Log-message with symbolic names:
PVSS00event (0), <TIMESTAMP>, PARAM,WARNING, 20, Source time outside valid limits (resource: validTimeDiff), DP: <DPE-name>, MAN: (SYS: <system-number> <manager-type> -num <manager-number> CONN: <connection>)
This log-messages describes that the manager <manager-type> with the number <manager-number> was sending a message with a timestamp which is too far in the future. The message is discarded, it is documented with this log-message.
To solve the problem please check the time-settings for the servers and the client-computers, especially the computer where the manager (given at the log-message) is running.
If the log-message is written for a driver running on the server you have to check the time of data source for the driver. e.g. the PLC or an OPC-server.
The limits can be defined with the config-entries validTimeDiff and valueChangeTimeDiff.
