PVSS00opc - IMPL/INFO - OPCIfceShutdown, ShutdownRequest, shutdown requested by server: system going down

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during runtime. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

Log-message with symbolic names:

PVSS00opc (3), <TIMESTAMP>, IMPL, INFO, 54, Unexpected state, OPCIfceShutdown, ShutdownRequest, shutdown requested by server: system going down

 

This log-message describes that the PVSS/WinCC OA-OPC-client will loose the connection to the OPC-server due to the fact that the system where the OPC-server is running is going down.
The OPC-server sends this information to the OPC-client.
To find the cause for the shutdown please have a look at the logfiles for the operating system where the OPC-server is running.
