WCCILdata - SYS/SEVERE - DataManDpInternSup, doBackupStart, Could not open input file for backup, backup aborted

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during runtime. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

WCCILdata    (0), 2016.03.25 10:45:00.002, SYS,  SEVERE,     54, Unexpected state, DataManDpInternSup, doBackupStart, Could not open input file for backup, backup aborted


Log-message with symbolic names:

WCCILdata    (0), <TIMESTAMP>, SYS,  SEVERE,     54, Unexpected state, DataManDpInternSup, doBackupStart, Could not open input file for backup, backup aborted


The log-message describes that the online backup could not be executed because of missing write permissions for the user starting the WinCC OA project.
The user starting the project must have write permission for the directory <WinCC OA project>/data.
To get rid of the problem please change the directory/file permissions.

If the error is reported also another log-message is written by the CTRL-manager executing the script archiv_client.ctl
WCCOActrl1:["[2016.03.25 10:45:01.005] ERROR (-4) starting OnlineBackup !!!"]
