WCCILevent - SYS/FATAL - Invalid license, License does not cover your system id

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during startup. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

WCCILevent (0), 2016.02.19 11:02:20.578, SYS, FATAL, 105, Invalid license, License does not cover your system id 4

Log-message with symbolic names:

WCCILevent (0), <TIMESTAMP>, SYS, FATAL, 105, Invalid license, License does not cover your system id <SYS-NUM>

The log-message describes that the system number <SYS-NUM> for the system is higher than the value for the keyword "distributed" in the WinCC OA license (file shield.txt).
The keyword "distributed" defines the highest possible system number for a project started on the machine where the license is installed.

In a standard system the system number is 1. The system number needs to be changed if a distributed system is used. If no distributed system is used there is no need to change the system number.

If the license shall be extended for the usage of distributed systems please get in contact with your common WinCC OA support or your WinCC OA sales contact.
