WCCOAbacnet (), , SYS, SEVERE, 54, Unexpected state, BACnet Error: SubscribeCOV Class=Services: Code=COV Subscription Failed; COV Subscribe response for 8-17-7—1

In some cases (for example: if a Device doesn't support the COV(cause of value)-service), it could happen, that the BACnet-driver is not able to make COV-subscriptions.

In that cases, the following error message will be displayed in the logviewer (example):

WCCOAbacnet (1), 2014.02.19 12:17:01.635, SYS,  SEVERE,     54, Unexpected state, BACnet Error: SubscribeCOV Class=Services: Code=COV Subscription Failed; COV Subscribe response for 8-17-7—1<o:p></o:p>

To find out, which of the configured devices/instance are affected, the last digit combination of this log-message can be interpreted like described below:

<device identifier> - <object type> - <object instance> -- <driver number>

The example log-output (see above) therefore means the following:

8-17-7---1    =>    device identifier = 8    object type = 17 (scheduler)     object instance = 7     driver number = 1

The object type mapping can be checked within the following file:

<WinCCOA-Version-Dir>\data\bacnet\BACNet_objecttype_mapping.cat
