What is the relationship of ETM and Siemens?

ETM is a 100% subsidiary of Siemens AG.
In detail ETM is a division company of Siemens Digital Factory and is assigned to Factory Automation (Siemens DF FA).  That means ETM is part of the same organisation, which develops and promotes worldwide  marketleading automation products like (SIMATIC S7, WinCC, PCS7,...)

Although part of Siemens, ETM acts as an independant company with its own product development, sales organization and product management, support and consulting resources. Our product WinCC OA is interlectual property of ETM. You can buy it directly at ETM or via Siemens sales channels in many countries worldwide.

ETM combines the advantages of two worlds: Flexibility of a small company combined with stability and economic security of a world wide acting big concern.
