When will an Next Generation Archiver Oracle backend be available?

• Currently an NGA Oracle backend is NOT planned.
We have the intention to keep the number of supported NGA backends limited

• Also due to increased costs, we generally expect very few new Oracle installations per year

• Own backends can be connected to the NGA at any time via Backend API

• Customers can continue to rely on and trust RDB option for Oracle archiving which is and remains fully supported

• With WinCC OA V3.21 (with possible backport for 3.20) the option to migrate historical data from Oracle to NGA is planned, to any backend type, recommended to PostgreSQL
