Which ways of online value synchronization can be used in a Disaster Recovery System?

The configuration for the data-synchronization, which defines in which direction the transfer of online values and alarms state should be carried out, can be parameterized with the 2x2 Redundancy wizard.

There are 3 possibilities for the synchronization:

· Synchronisation from PSS to SSS - the synchronisation of online values is carried out from the PSS to the SSS, independent of whether a system is the active or the passive one (this setting represents the default configuration of the Disaster Recovery System).

· Synchronisation from active to passive system - the active system sends the values to the passive system, independent of whether PSS or SSS is the active system.

· Synchronisation in both directions - the synchronisation of online values is carried out from PSS to SSS,and from SSS to PSS
