Alert states
Depending on the type of acknowledgement, the status of an alert range can be one of many different states. The normal state is always "No alert". The system distinguishes between the following acknowledgement types:
Acknowledge deletes
The alert state can only be one of the two states "Came" or "No alert". The latter state is reached either by a suitable value change or acknowledgement.
Not acknowledgeable
The alert state can only be one of the two states "Came" or "No alert". The latter state is reached by a suitable value change. Acknowledgement is not possible.
CAME is acknowledgeable
The state of each alert range can be one of the states "came/unacknowledged", "came/acknowledged" or "No alert". The latter state is reached by a suitable value change. Acknowledgement serves mainly to stop the blinking display.
Alert pair must be acknowledged
The state of each alert range can be one of the states "came/unacknowledged", "came/acknowledged" , "went/unacknowledged" or "No alert". The latter state is only reached by a suitable value change, together with an acknowledgement. Acknowledgement results in a "came" alert in the "came/unacknowledged" state or a "went" alert in the "went/unacknowledged" state.
CAME and WENT must be acknowledged
The state of each alert range can be one of the states "came/unacknowledged", "came/acknowledged" , "came/went/unacknowledged", "went/unacknowledged" or "No alert". In order to obtain the normal state again, "came" and "went" alerts have to be acknowledged separately and in succession, that is, "WENT" alert first, then "CAME" alert.
