DP selector, basics
The data point selector allows you to select data points in four different ways: by groups (group selection by main group or subgroup; also based on filters defined in the group), by DPE filters, by alias name and by DP(E) description. You can resize the DP selector panels at runtime.
The main improvement to the DP selector is the enhanced filtering options (cf. dpSelector()) as displayed on these four tabs:
Tab | Filters data points |
Group tab | by data point groups and their filter settings. |
DPE tab | by data point elements - corresponds to the old DP selector. |
Description tab | by the description of data point elements as specified in the _common config. |
Alias tab | by their alias names, as specified in the _common config. |
CNS tab | by the linked CNS elements. |
