Silent Setup

A silent setup can be performed by calling the WinCC_OA_3.19_Setup_x64.exe with the Option /quiet.

The user interface and dialogs are not displayed during silent setup.

The additonal option /config uses a prepared config for installation, see Installation.html#Installation__installConfig.
The command line option WinCC_OA_3.19_Setup_x64.exe /? shows a summary of the command line options.
You can set the installation directory of WinCC OA (INSTALLDIR) and the installation directory of the Desktop UI (DESKTOPUIDIR) under Windows to a user-defined directory as follows:

WinCC_OA_3.19_x64.exe /install INSTALLDIR=c:\MyCompanyName\WinCCOABrandlabelled\3.19\
```

WinCC_OA_Desktop_UI_3.19_x64.exe /install DESKTOPUIDIR=c:\MyCompanyName\WinCCOADesktopBrandlabelled\3.19\
```
Note: The directory path must not contain any spaces.
SUPPRESSREBOOT=1: Suppresses the unconditional restart (in case it is needed) during the unattended setup.
