Windows Certificate Store

In the Server-side authentication (SSA) for managers the managers use SSL certificates to authenticate themselves.

The WinCC OA Multiplexing Proxy and the HTTP-Server use SSL for the secure communication.

For the SSL communication/authentication filebased certificates and certificates stored in Windows Certificate Store can be used.

Open the MMC and certificates by typing "cert" into the start menu search field.
