Requirements

• A correctly installed WinCC OA Version 3.18 or higher

• A distributed system

• Authorization level Administrator (= bit 4)

Installation

A normal installation of WinCC OA is sufficient for using the dist management. See chapter Installation for more information on installing WinCC OA.

If several single systems are interconnected to a dist system later, the locations contain different user IDs. This can cause problems. For a workaround, see chapter Dist Management in Combination with Active Directory – Re-sorting/Synchronization.
