Client-Server / Provider-Consumer
The individual managersinteract like in a real client-server architecture. This implicates that the servers execute their processing independently from the client and provide information. Servers are providers of information in this concept.
To put it simply, a client is the recipient or consumer of information. The client receives the information from the server. This is often called a Provider-Consumerrelationship.
This role model is not only limited to runtime visualization (VISION, see Important Abbreviations and their Meaning) and the Event Manager in WinCC OA. In fact all communication relationships between managers correspond to this principle.
