The following log message can be displayed during the runtime. The log message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

The log message with symbolic names:

WCCILdata (0), <TIMESTAMP>, SYS, SEVERE, 54, Unexpected state, DataManDpInternSup, doBackupStart, Could not open input file for backup, backup aborted

The log message describes that the online backup could not be executed due to missing write permissions of the user starting the WinCC OA project.

The user starting the project must have write permission for the directory <WinCC OA project>/data.

To solve the problem, change the directory/file permissions.

If this error is shown, also another log message is written by the CTRL-manager executing the script archiv_client.ctl
