Configuration - Insights Hub (Cloud) Part 2
In order to work with uploaded values, create a variable for each data point that you want to link with an aspect. Here two aspects are created for the data sources Pump1 and Valve1. The variable types for the data points are added to an aspect.
For more information on Insights Hub, see the Insights Hub help https://documentation.Insights Hub.io/#/kiosk.
- Open the Asset Manager on the left side. Select Aspect types from the menu on the left side.
- Click on "+ Create aspect" in order to create a new aspect Aspect_datasource_pump1.
- Create a variable for each Insights Hub data point that you want to link with an aspect and then with WinCC OA data points. After saving a variable, click again on the Edit aspect on the top right corner of the window in order to add a second variable. Here two variables Pump1_electrical_current and Pump1_electrical_voltage are created.
- Save this aspect.

- Select all aspects that an asset of this type should have from the Aspects combo box and add the variable types. Save this type.
- Select the Assets from the menu on the left side. Click on + Create asset in order to create a new asset Pump1 that contains the Insights Hub data points that are connected to WinCC OA .
