S7 Routing

The S7 Routing for the S7Plus is supported under Windows.

For a correct configuration of the S7 Routing, the connection string must have the following format:

<subnet-id>:<gateway-ip>:<profibus-address>:<TSAP>:

e.g.:

 0.1.0.0.0.0:192.168.100.200:1:SIMATIC-ROOT-HMI:

Note: The TSAP must be 'SIMATIC-ROOT-HMI' and the 2 center bits of the subnet-ID must be 0.

S7Plus Online Device Caching

Important: Please note that the data structures, function blocks, etc. are cached in WinCC OA , when a "Online devices" connection with the PLC is used and changes within the PLC are only queried again when the connection is newly established.
