Manual input tab

Figure 1. "Manual input" tab

All the defined variables are displayed on the left-hand side of this tab. The right-hand side shows the variables that can still be changed (dynamic attributes) during Configuration of the PowerConfig at the data point. Adding/removing any variables determines the layout of the configuration panel (for configuration at the data point) and specifies the dynamic attributes.

It is not possible to configure variables from type "time" for a manual input. These variables are not shown on the left-hand side!

Use the following buttons when working with this tab:

Moves a variable selected for manual input one line up.

Moves a variable selected for manual input one line down.

Adds the selected variable (from the field containing all defined variables) to the area containing the variables defined for manual input.

Removes the selected variable from the window containing the variables defined for manual input.

All variables on the right-hand side are moved to the left-hand side (i.e. no dynamic configuration can be performed for this PowerConfig).

If you add a new variable to the field for manual input (select the variable and click on the right-arrow button), then the plain text name can be configured. This text is also reproduced in the configuration panel.

Settings, such as the plain text name (for dynamic attributes) and the name of the PowerConfig, are saved in the catalog da.cat in the directory <proj_path>/msg/<lang>. If the powerconfig file is edited directly in a text editor and not in the standard panel, then these entries must be updated manually in the da.cat. The names and plain texts used are not written to the catalog until the PowerConfig has been completed in the PowerConfig Editor (script generated and saved).

Using a multilingual project which doesn't contain the languages de_AT.iso88591 or en_US.iso88591) you have to copy the catalog da.cat from the version (either de_AT or en_US) to the directory <proj_path>/msg/<lang> before creating resp. using the PowerConfigs!
