Send DPE as: Depending on the Backends’ capabilities the data points can be transmitted to the backend by using the ID and / or by using the DPE name. Also, Aliases can be transmitted to the backend. This setting is normally predefined by the profile (i.e. creator of the backend) and should not be changed (only for user-specific backends).

CAUTION: Each database contains specific settings and limitations. When creating a new profile, consider what settings can be configured for this specific database and what limitations apply.
