OPC server

The OPC server is the program that collects the data from the hardware on one side, and makes it available to the OPC clients over the OPC interface on the other side. It is responsible for establishing the connection between the ItemID of the OPC item and the hardware address. It is consequently normally necessary for the server to be configured before becoming operational. With CALL-R servers, this can also be done from the client.
