WCCIL00event - PARAM/WARNING - Element does not exist, EvManager, connectCopyDps

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log-message which can occur during startup of the event manager. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

Log message with symbolic names:

WCCIL00event (0), 2012.10.10 08:31:54.233, PARAM,WARNING, 8, Element does not exist, EvManager, connectCopyDps, <DP-element>

This log-message describes that the config entry copyDp was defined for a non existing DP element. The copyDp functionality will not be called for the given DP-element, this could lead to an incorrect behaviour in your project.

The config entry can be defined in the config, config.level or config.redu-file of your project or any of the sub-projects including the config.level and config.redu file for the installed version.

Check if the config-entry is necessary in your project.

If necessary, you have to create the datapoint to avoid this error and ensure the correct functionality.
