The integrated business logic (= project/system-specific special functionality) offers extensive expansion options to supplement the range of WinCC OA features. This enables application engineers to further increase the flexibility, modularity and scalability of their projects.

A dedicated scripting language (Control or Control++) allows simple mapping of logics, sequencing of processes or management of connections without having to deal with compiling and builds.

If these options are not sufficient, the proprietary scripting language can be extended via CtrlExtensions. Logics can also be processed via specially programmed WinCC OA API managers (C++ or C#).
