WinCC OA Excel Report
WinCC OA Excel Report, is a program extension of MS Excel for integrated data evaluation and protocol generation with WinCC OA archive data. Reports can be created with the WinCC OA Excel Report. Templates are used for the reports. If a report is to be generated over a defined period of time, the system accesses the template and automatically fills it with data from the process database. Reports can also be created, printed and saved on a scheduled basis without requiring user access.

- XML Reporting
  The Reporting feature allows you to create reports in XML format. Therefore, add the WinCC OA Reporting Manager to your project. Historical data can be queried via the Reporting manager by using the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) interface. SOAP is a network protocol which allows sending data in XML format between systems.
- WinCC OA Excel Report
  WinCC OA Excel Report, is a program extension of MS Excel for integrated data evaluation and protocol generation with WinCC OA archive data. Reports can be created with the WinCC OA Excel Report. - REST Reporting API
  The REST Reporting API is integrated into the Standard web server and can be activated via the config entry enabled in the [restReporting] section.
- Insights Hub Connector
  The Insights Hub connector allows you to upload data from WinCC OA to Siemens Industrial Cloud Insights Hub and to process data. WinCC OA supports the integration of SCADA data from WinCC OA to Insights Hub.

Installation of WinCC OA Excel Report

Install Excel Report. The Excel Report is part of the base installation.
Anmerkung: If spaces are used in the installation path, you must enclose the path in quotation marks (otherwise it will not be processed correctly), e.g. "C:\<Path with Spaces>\Automation\WinCC_OA\3.20\bin\windows\WCCOAcom.dll"

Anmerkung: After updating a project, follow the instructions in chapter Add Ons

The Excel Report button is available for all projects created after the Excel Report has been installed. If you have an existing project and want to use the Excel Report - see chapter Installation of WinCC OA Excel Report for projects created before Excel Report has been installed.
Start your project and open the Excel Report via System Management > Reports > Excel Report.
Proceed with the Configuration & Create a report.
