WCCILsim

The simulation driver of WinCC OA enables the operation of the system without connection to the real periphery.

Values are passed to the simulation driver in an ASCII file. The values of this file are passed to the Event Manager like values of a real periphery. The ASCII file can be created easily by the user and it allows to assign desired simulation values to specific peripheral devices. The values are smoothed, converted and assigned to the data points according to the configurations in the simulator.

The simulation driver of WinCC OA is started via the option:

WCCILsim [-num <managerNumber>] [-t <fileName>]

//FileName is the name of the simulation file including the file path.
