XML Reporting
The Reporting feature allows you to create reports in XML format. Therefore, add the WinCC OA Reporting Manager to your project. Historical data can be queried via the Reporting manager by using the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) interface. - XML Reporting
  The Reporting feature allows you to create reports in XML format. Therefore, add the WinCC OA Reporting Manager to your project. Historical data can be queried via the Reporting manager by using the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) interface. SOAP is a network protocol which allows sending data in XML format between systems.
- WinCC OA Excel Report
  WinCC OA Excel Report, is a program extension of MS Excel for integrated data evaluation and protocol generation with WinCC OA archive data. Reports can be created with the WinCC OA Excel Report. Templates are used for the reports. If a report is to be generated over a defined period of time, the system accesses the template and automatically fills it with data from the process database. Reports can also be created, printed and saved on a scheduled basis without requiring user access.
- REST Reporting API
  The REST Reporting API is integrated into the Standard web server and can be activated via the config entry enabled in the [restReporting] section.
- Insights Hub Connector
  The Insights Hub connector allows you to upload data from WinCC OA to Siemens Industrial Cloud Insights Hub and to process data. WinCC OA supports the integration of SCADA data from WinCC OA to Insights Hub.

Report project

After starting BIRT you have to create a report project. Click on File - New - New Report and enter the file name. You can select the directory where the reports should be saved.

Proceed to the template selection by clicking on Next. For this example no template (Blank Report) is selected. Create the report by clicking on Finish.
