XY trend

The XY trend (<proj_path>/panels/vision/xy_trend.pnl) is an example for a graph without a definite value-time relationship. It is difficult to visualize functions without a strong mathematical relationship, for instance, characteristics curves. The wind-direction profile for the weather station has been implemented with the aid of the bar trend widget in curve mode (see also Bar trend).

The XY trend in this form has been specifically adapted for this directional chart and is not suitable for general use. Nevertheless, it is quite straightforward to derive the necessary parameter settings from the example and apply them to customized implementations.
