Compression is used to minimize the large amount of historical data. You can use compression configuration to:

Specify several compression levels having different intervals, for example, calculate the 5-minute average, then calculate an hourly mean from this and from this in turn a daily mean.

Define archives and compressions for data point types created from scratch (AC types) in the data point type.

Apply these parameter settings to the required data points with a click on the mouse.
