Tags
The Tags tree tab is used to provide information on the device in a tree structure.
The table contains columns with the following details:
IED
This column displays tags in a tree view with tag information associated with the device such as logical device (LD), logical node (LN), functional constraint (FC), data object (DO) and data attribute (DA) in the tree structure.
Tag name
Displays name (full path) of respective tag in a tree view.
DPE
Displays data point element name of a configured tag address.
DPE names are only shown for data point elements with an active _address config. In case that there are more than one DPE configured with the same address, only the first element is displayed in the table. Additionally, all others are displayed as tool tip for this cell. The column is only updated if the node is collapsed and expanded again.
Data type
Displays IEC data type of an attribute as per the tag information derived after browsing.
CDC/attribute
Displays CDC (Common Data Class) type name of data object and data attribute.
For user defined data object names, CDC information will only be available on browsing a file. In case of browsing a device, CDC information for user defined data objects names will be "unknown" since CDC information will not be available in the mapping table.
The attributes quality (q) and time (t) are not displayed in the tree view. These attributes are mapped to the "_original" config of the data point element representing the value they apply to thus providing quality information and time stamp according to the WinCC OA standard.
This mapping of quality information covers only the distinction between valid and invalid data. More detailed information on quality and also on time as provided by the IEC standard can be mapped to WinCC OA user bytes by enabling the config entries userByteQualityMode, userByteQualityDetail or userByteTimeQuality. For detailed information on these config entries please refer to possible config entries.
