WinCC OA Console
The WinCC OA console available under Windows was replaced via the combination of a process monitor (Pmon) and panels (project administration and console). This solution is available under Windows as well as under Linux.
The console panel visualizes the state of the project and the state of the managers via easy symbolism. The manager configuration can be changed easily (changed restricted at run time). Since the console panel serves for visualization and controlling of the Pmon it can be closed anytime although the project is running. Furthermore, you can switch between several projects (projects may have different statuses) by just selecting a project.
The handling of the console is similar to the handling philosophy of Windows. The console is a WinCC OA panel. Tooltips are shown when you move the mouse over buttons or input boxes which require user actions. This guarantees an easy use when working with WinCC OA projects.
