- PM Agent
  The PM Add-ons product portfolio enhances the base functionality of the WinCC product range. Now this is also supported by WinCC OA.

BACnet HMI Basics

The WinCC OA BACnet HMI (Human Machine Interface) acts as an interface between the user and the BACnet driver, which manages the BACnet devices/objects.

The most important tasks of the WinCC OA BACnet HMI are:

Browsing for BACnet devices (online or offline)
Browsing a BACnet device for objects (online or offline)
Creating WinCC OA DPT, DPs and address configs for the devices and objects found.
Handling and visualizing devices and objects via faceplates

These and other tasks can be performed with the WinCC OA BACnet Explorer.

The Explorer is opened via the System Management > BACnet tab.
