BACnet HMI Basics
The WinCC OA BACnet HMI (Human Machine Interface) acts as an interface between the user and the BACnet driver, which manages the BACnet devices/objects.
The most important tasks of the WinCC OA BACnet HMI are:
- Browsing for BACnet devices (online or offline)
- Browsing a BACnet device for objects (online or offline)
- Creating WinCC OA DPT, DPs and address configs for the devices and objects found.
- Handling and visualizing devices and objects via faceplates
