required. This help describes the NGA importer and how to select and import data.

To import the historical values and alerts from HDB/RAIMA, enable the importing
functionality of NGA with the check box Automatic import on project
start in the panel NGA

Note: If you do not use the option Automatic import
on project start, then you must manually activate the Importer
in the Importer section of the General
tab.
Important: Under Linux, the running
lm_ip service is a prerequisite for the importer. Check
whether the lm_ip service is running. If not, use the command
sudo <winccoa_dir>/bin/lm_ip -a lockmgr -f 600 to start
it.
Open the Importer panel via System Management > Database > NGA Importer.
Note: Earliest imported timestamps are lost and are
not displayed correctly in the Importer panel after restarting NGA or the entire
project.
