Multiple Backends
Note: Note that in the NGA Basic license only default PostgreSQL® / InfluxDB® is included. For additional backends, you need another NGA license and possibly also
additional backend connections - see chapter Licensing.
Based on NGA Standard or NGA Premium more connections from a backend to a database are possible and can be extended. Redundancy is included for PostgreSQL® / InfluxDB®. The redundancy means WinCC OA redundancy and the PostgreSQL® / InfluxDB® redundancy as described in the chapter Redundant Scenarios.
In the example shown below two backends are used. Therefore, the NGA Standard package or NGA Premium package is required.

Two backends are running in-proc with the frontend manager on a local machine. One database is running locally, another remote.
